Disenlightenment is the state of humanity whereby, through dependence on technology and abolition of the esoteric, we reach a state of complete vacuity and complacency. Whereas once science and the esoteric were one, as we have begun to worship one and discredit the other, we have forfeit control over whatever we unleash. Science becomes the new religion and technology becomes its only practice, and we are its god, and our machines, the creation. This album plots this course which we can see commencing in the world around us as science is worshiped, spirituality condemned, technology becomes a human right, and we creep ever closer to creating sentience and sapience to serve us with no free will so that we might devolve back into a philosophically embryonic state and die off like the gods and goddesses before us.

What started as an industrial/rhythmic noize project has grown into a full blown hybrid consisting of punchy kicks, growling basslines, clanging snares, dark ambiances, industrial percussion, distorted/glitchy rhythms, and heavily syncopated yet meticulously arranged beat structures. Drawing upon a love for broken beats, breakdowns, and high bpms, Rose Red Flechette delivers a unique brand of frantic, unnerving psychedelic industrial music. We constantly seek to merge the technological with the organic. Civilization is evidence of this, and only through the lens of “civilization” do the darker perversions of human nature become so abhorrent. As technology evolves, we devolve, becoming pets of our own machines. Rose Red Flechette’s sound is an ode to this conflict, merging industrial and noize sounds with psychedelic styles, and is both a celebration of depravity, destruction, dissonance, contradiction, and aggression as fuel for creativity, and a stimulant for the mind, providing a uniquely cathartic experience for listeners.
